REGISTRATION

Please note that registration has been extended until camp is full. Drop your completed forms off to Scotty (Heather Scott Thomas - in Guidance) as soon as possible, so you don't miss out!

 

Our fall 2014 "Super Heroes" Leadership Camp Registration package is here...Please note that any South Carleton student is welcome to attend camp.

Leadership Camp will take place over the weekend. Camp will start right after school on Friday, November 14th and end on Sunday, November 16th at 3:00pm. 

YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE AND SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING BY 
Thursday, October 9th @ 2:30pm

1. Trip Approval Request Form;

2. Parent Permission Form;

    (Both of the above documents can be downloaded using the blue box) 

3. Online Registration form (link to the form can be found using the red box); and
4. Payment (cheque made payable to South Carleton High School).

5. Returning camp delegates only - Upper Year Form (see Upper Year tab at top of page)

The registration form should be completed and submitted online.

 

The Trip Approval Request, Parent Permission Form and cheque, should be dropped off to Mrs. Scott Thomas ("Scotty" in the Guidance Office) in an envelope with your name on it. The cost for the weekend is $100 (however a discount of $10 is being offered to those students who have paid their Voluntary Student Activity Fee). This fee includes a camp T-shirt, your own leadership camp manual and all meals during camp. Additional clothing is available at an extra cost.

Please make sure you complete all parts of the registration package. Incomplete forms will not be processed! When all parts of the registration have been completed, they will be placed in the lottery.


If you have already attended South Carleton Leadership Camp before, please complete the form found on the UPPER YEAR PROGRAMS tab in addition to the registration package.

TIMELINES

The online Registration Form, Trip Request Form, Parent Permission form and your money for camp must all be completed and submitted by Thursday, October 9th at 2:30 pm.

 

LOTTERY PROCESS

After registration, a lottery will be held. The names of those selected will be on Scotty's office door. If you were not selected in the first round, you may pick up your registration package from Scotty or you can leave the package and your cheque with her and have your name placed on the wait list. Unclaimed cheques from students who did not get into camp will be shredded. More information regarding the lottery process can be found on the "Lottery" page.

 

REFUND POLICY
If you find out you are unable to attend camp after registering, please let us know ASAP. Refunds will be paid according to the following timetable: If you pull out after October 17th, your refund will be $50. After October 24th your refund will be $30. After October 31st there will be no refund.

 

LEAVING CAMP POLICY

We recognize that extenuating circumstances may happen and that a very few students may have to leave camp early. Please be aware that once a student has left camp for personal or family reasons, they will not be allowed to return to finish up this camp.

MONDAY MORNING FOLLOWING CAMP POLICY

Even though this weekend is very tiring, it is expected that all students will be in class first thing Monday morning.
